[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. Speedy deletion of Hottinger & Cie
[edit]A tag has been placed on Hottinger & Cie, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Hitro 07:15, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Image source problem with Image:Picture_009.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Picture_009.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:45, 9 September 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaKReply? on my talk page, please 09:45, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Baron Jean-conrad Hottinguer (1764-1841)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Baron Jean-conrad Hottinguer (1764-1841), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Pinkadelica (talk) 09:55, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Other articles on the family
[edit]Now proposed for deletion--you should have been notified by the person proposing them. I am removing the prods, because what is asserted is notable and sourced, but I'd advise you to improve them very quickly, before they gets nominated for regular deletion. They are much less likely to be deleted if you take care with the English, and give more specifics. When you use a machine translation, at least check the tense--one of the most widely used translating programs produces things like "he prepares for his first great voyage" when it should be in the past tense in English. The book cited is well and good, but they should also have been referred to in news accounts of the period. See if the book lists them as references. Otherwise, a librarian at an appropriate library can help you find them. DGG (talk) 16:20, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Pic004.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Pic004.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Rockfang (talk) 21:43, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Notability of Klaus hottinger
[edit]A tag has been placed on Klaus hottinger requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

reminder
[edit]When you add an article, add a source or two, or others will have the job of going around trying to keep the articles on the notable members of he family from deletion -- it's your responsibility, and you're the one who knows the sources. Incidentally, when you put in a group portrait, please identify the people--at least the one who the article is about! And please from the very first, refine the machine translation of English--you do not have to be literary, but at least change the tenses for historical description into the English past tense. "When he reach Madrid in 1855, he was to be founding the bank..." is not English. Only google translator thinks it is. DGG (talk) 05:12, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Pic999.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Pic999.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:48, 10 June 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:48, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

File:Jean-Conrad Hottinguer.jpg needs authorship information.
[edit]The media file you uploaded as File:Jean-Conrad Hottinguer.jpg appears to be missing information as to its authorship (and or source), or if you did provide such information, it is confusing for others trying to make use of the image.
It would be appreciated if you would consider updating the file description page, to make the authorship of the media clearer.
Although some images may not need author information in obvious cases, (such where an applicable source is provided),authorship information aids users of the image, and helps ensure that appropriate credit is given (a requirement of some licenses).
If you created this media yourself, please consider explicitly including your user name, for which:{{subst:usernameexpand|Richotting}} will produce an appropriate expansion,
or the {{own}} template..
If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:16, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
